Is This Still Life series aims to challenge and redefine stereotypical depictions of Black culture. By focusing on familiar foods and objects of the Black experience in a classical style, I aim to elevate them from mere kitsch into works that provoke thought, while celebrating their beauty, history, and significance. I utilize generative art software as a painter does a brush. Through meticulous attention to detail and a focus on light and composition, I invite viewers to reconsider their preconceived notions and appreciate the richness and diversity of Black culture.
